Лукашенко подписал указ о первоочередных вопросах подготовки к Евроиграм-2019
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree regulating certain priority issues of the preparation for the II European Games 2019 in Belarus.

In particular, the legal act establishes the sources and procedure for financing the activities of the Games Directorate, expenses related to the opening and closing ceremonies, and payment for services of the organization responsible for the television coverage of the competitions, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported.

The decree regulates the procedure for repaying the interest-free loan allocated in 2017 to the Games Directorate, as well as the mechanism for the Development Bank of Belarus to provide a loan to Belteleradiocompany for the purchase of mobile HD television stations.

In order to make more rational use of funds from the republican and local budgets, goods purchased at their expense for the preparation and holding of the sports forum will not be subject to value added tax. As during the 2014 World Hockey Championship, the participants of the Games are exempt from mandatory medical insurance, which will reduce the costs of insurance coverage for the competitions. At the same time, Belarus will provide participants of the European Games with free emergency medical care.
