President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has approved the appointment of Sergey Levkovich as First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, a BELTA correspondent reports.
Until now, Sergey Levkovich served as Aide to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region.
"Sergey Viktorovich, you have made a decision or accepted a proposal voiced by the Head of the Administration regarding your transfer to the position of First Deputy Governor in the Vitebsk Region. I am grateful to you for agreeing to this challenging position. And that's all the gratitude. The work there will be difficult," said Alexander Lukashenko.
