The "Vesta" store opened in the Bilevo microdistrict of Vitebsk (+photos)

This facility, which was greatly needed by the residents of new buildings, was erected in record time. The first stone was laid in the foundation in June, and the acceptance certificate was signed in December. It took some time to deliver and install the necessary equipment and goods, and then to invite customers to the housewarming. By the way, the builders – OAO "Vitebsktorghstroy" – are long-term partners of the trading company, and close cooperation has been ongoing for over 30 years.

For OAO "Vesta", the new store on Bogatyrev Street in Bilevo-3 is already the 63rd. The company successfully operates in the market and has already expanded beyond the Vitebsk region. Its retail outlets are located in Grodno and Gomel, and the other day Svetlogorsk was added to these cities. It turns out that at the beginning of 2017, "Vesta" celebrated its second housewarming.

– This retail chain sets an example that it is possible to operate profitably and develop even in difficult conditions. It is also important that "Vesta" prefers domestic goods, which, as is known, are distinguished by their quality. And this is primarily a concern for customers, – noted **Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Oleg Matskevich**.

The company's successes have been recognized with the honorary award of the Ministry of Trade "Bronze Mercury", and the joint-stock company "Vesta" has been inscribed on the Vitebsk Honor Board.

The total area of the new store is 1660 sq. m, the retail space, which presents food and industrial goods, occupies 870 sq. m. There is a cafeteria with 20 seats and its own culinary production department. 46 jobs have been created here. Areas are provided for lease to provide additional services to the population. An agreement has already been reached to locate a pharmacy in one of the premises.

– Our company's policy is convenience stores, meaning close to residential areas. So that customers do not waste time getting to the retail outlet, but can stop by for purchases on their way home. All stores are equipped with modern trade and technical, and refrigeration equipment, and a system of discounts and promotions has been developed, – explained Director of OJSC "Vesta" Reyman Veniaminov.

In particular, all customers who pay with any bank plastic card receive a discount of up to 2%. Social discounts are provided for large families, disabled people, and pensioners. There are many promotional items on the shelves. Tastings of products from various domestic manufacturers are often held.

For example, on the opening day of the store, customers were offered to try delicacies from the Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm and sweets from "Krasny Pishchevik". Children happily enjoyed marmalade and marshmallows, while adults made their first purchases and thanked "Vesta" for such a gift, which they received as a continuation of the New Year holidays.
