Small enterprises in the Vitebsk region increased payments to the budget by almost 30% in January-April

May 20, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Small enterprises of the Vitebsk region increased budget payments by almost 30% to Br115.8 billion in January-April compared to the same period in 2009. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region. In total, for 4 months, tax and duty revenues from small business entities in the region amounted to Br148.5 billion, including Br32.7 billion from individual entrepreneurs. The number of entrepreneurs decreased by 1% compared to the same period last year, while their contribution to the revenue part of the consolidated budget increased by 7.8%. The number of small enterprises increased by 15%. According to data as of May 1, on average, one small enterprise paid about Br3.9 million in budget payments monthly (an increase of more than 8.3% compared to the same period last year), and one entrepreneur paid Br270 thousand per month. In total, almost 36.9 thousand small business entities are registered in the region, including 7.4 thousand legal entities and 29.5 thousand individual entrepreneurs.
