Marina Novitskaya: The main job of ideologists is to organize the process and involve the necessary people

This was stated by Marina Novitskaya, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, summing up the results of the work of the region's ideological vertical, media, and printing houses. She emphasized that the solution of the set tasks depends on the effective activity of the personnel's ideological potential. This requires systematic work based on the necessary legal framework of personnel policy, which should form a high-quality team of professional workers.

The region's ideological vertical is represented by more than 1300 employees.

Marina Novitskaya emphasized that statistics show a rejuvenation of management staff in the sector. However, experienced specialists also work in the ideological vertical. The chief ideologist of the region also stressed the importance of paying close attention to the proper selection of personnel today.

– Attention should be paid to the frequent staff turnover in the departments of ideological work (culture) and youth affairs over the year, – noted Marina Novitskaya. – For example, in Chashniki district, 4 people were replaced, in Dubrovno and Polotsk districts, and in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk – 2 people each, in Beshenkovichi, Verkhnedvinsk, Gorodok, Dokshitsy, Shumilino districts, and in the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk – one person each. For faster and higher quality adaptation of new leaders, the main department has introduced an internship system for heads of departments. This experience should also be introduced at the local level for newly arrived specialists.
