Large-scale work on information support for the 2019 European Games has started in Belarus

Participants and guests of the European Games in Minsk will not find themselves in an information vacuum. This was stated by Anatoly Kotov, Deputy Director of the Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019 Foundation.

He noted that large-scale work on information support for the upcoming Games began recently. The main focus is on electronic means of communication, while traditional brochures, programs, and other printed materials will be produced in small quantities, partly for economic reasons.

The development of special mobile applications for participants and guests of the 2nd European Games is already underway. The experience of major international competitions will be used. The organizers of the Euro-2019 Games will strive to prepare the most convenient and informative applications so that fans coming to Minsk have complete information about the infrastructure – the location of sports arenas, hotels, and attractions in Belarus.

During the competitions, access to information resources with announcements and results will also be provided.
