Large-scale emergency response drills will be held today in Orsha

Today, large-scale demonstration tactical special exercises on eliminating various emergencies will be held in Orsha. The events will take place during the training and methodological gathering of the leading staff of the Vitebsk territorial subsystem of the State system for the prevention and elimination of emergencies and civil defense, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Participants of the exercises will have to carry out emergency rescue operations during building collapses, at life support facilities in autumn-winter conditions, and much more. Rescue services, enterprises and organizations of the Orsha district will be involved in eliminating emergencies and rescuing people. During the gathering, demonstration sites of various services will be organized with the demonstration of special equipment.

The purpose of the exercises is to prepare the district link of the State system for the prevention and elimination of emergencies for responding to emerging emergencies in autumn and winter, and to improve skills in organizing the management of forces in eliminating emergencies of a man-made and natural nature.
