Mass collection of secondary resources announced in Vitebsk

An event under the slogan "Hand in secondary materials" has been announced in Vitebsk. To ensure that recyclables are not disposed of at landfills along with other waste, but are sent for processing, it was decided to organize their mass collection in the regional center.

To this end, the housing and communal services of all districts of the northern capital are instructed to allocate special sites in the courtyards where residents of apartment buildings can bring unnecessary rags, waste paper, scrap metal, and empty PET bottles. As materials accumulate, they will be collected by utility services. This event is being held in Vitebsk for the first time and will last until May 8, as explained in the housing department of Vitebsk City Housing and Communal Services Unitary Enterprise.

Citizens who have questions regarding the location of the collection sites for recyclables should contact their housing and maintenance offices for information.
