The memory of concentration camp prisoners was honored in Vitebsk (04/11/2017)

Today is the International Day of Prisoners of Fascist Concentration Camps. Events dedicated to this day are taking place throughout the region. Students of the third Vitebsk Gymnasium named after Pushkin invited former prisoners to visit. Such meetings are real lessons of courage. On the territory of the regional center, 5 concentration camps operated during the years of fascist hardship. One of the largest was "Pyaty Polk" (Fifth Regiment). Today, a rally and a flower-laying ceremony took place at its site.
