Outcome of the first day of the International Economic Forum in Vitebsk
Nearly two dozen agreements and cooperation treaties. This is the outcome of the first day of the International Economic Forum in Vitebsk. The exhibition features over a hundred exhibitors from all over the country – from small family businesses to major industrial giants. Potential investors represent France, Slovenia, Latvia and Lithuania, China, Vietnam, the Czech Republic, and more than ten regions of Russia.
The investment opportunities of the region will be discussed by business circles during the thematic sessions.
One of the items on the forum's agenda was the opening of a new enterprise for the production of trade equipment. The plant operates within the framework of the "Vitebsk" free economic zone. Polish and Ukrainian investors chose the northern region of Belarus as a place for investment. This year, businessmen at the forum will pay special attention to the green economy. After all, these days the city on the Dvina is also hosting the 14th Republican Ecological Forum.
