Deputy Prime Minister checked readiness for "Slavianski Bazaar" (07.05.2017)
By July 10, Vitebsk must be fully ready to host the 26th "Slavianski Bazaar" festival. This task was set by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus and the Chairman of the organizing committee for the forum, Vasily Zharko. For city and regional services, the festival is a kind of test of endurance. The city expects thousands of guests, so even a minor oversight can be a fly in the ointment. The main focus of the forum organizers is on participants and guests. About 5,000 are expected from 38 countries. They will be accommodated in 12 hotels and inns of the festival capital. In addition to the main catering facilities, street cafes will operate around the clock. The length of trade rows on the streets of Vitebsk is about 10 kilometers. The public transport schedule will also be extended. Its schedule will be adjusted considering the night concerts. Currently, the final preparatory works are underway in the area of the Summer Amphitheater. The festival of arts will welcome its first guests this week. The official opening of the forum will take place on July 13. A total of about 130 events are planned. The main ones will be broadcast on Belarus1, Belarus3, and Belarus 24 channels.
