A monument to signalmen soldiers has appeared in Vitebsk on the eve of the celebration of Airborne Forces Day. It was opened in the military town in Zhuzhovo. A command and staff vehicle was placed on the pedestal. The legendary BMD-1, equipped with four radio stations, was in service with Vitebsk signalmen during the military conflict in Afghanistan.
