New faces and young politicians will appear in the elections to the local councils of deputies, believes the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Belarus, Lidiya Yarmoshyna. In Vitebsk, she held a training seminar for members of the district and territorial election commissions of the region. The elections will once again be held by women, noted Lidiya Yarmoshyna, as more than 80% of the election commission members are women. However, there are fewer young people in their ranks compared to the previous campaign in 2014.
