On the eve of March 8, the best livestock breeders were honored (03/06/2018)

150 workers of the agro-industrial complex – milkmaids, zootechnicians, veterinarians – received valuable gifts, and 42 best representatives of the livestock industry were awarded honorary diplomas and thanks from the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, and the republican and regional committees of the agro-industrial complex workers' trade union. Based on the results of last year's work, the growth rate of gross agricultural production was 105%. In 45 farms of the region, the average milk yield was over 5 thousand kilograms of milk per cow, and in the "Larinovka" farm of the Orsha district, they obtained over 10 thousand kilograms – one of the best indicators in the country. As noted by the head of the region, Nikolai Shersnev, all this gives reason to believe that a breakthrough has occurred in the livestock industry of the Vitebsk region, and positive development dynamics are emerging.
