Medical institutions of the Vitebsk region are almost fully staffed with doctors
The polyclinic has been augmented by five novice doctors – therapists, a surgeon, a neurologist, a physician assistant, and a nurse. According to the head of the institution, Leonid Maskin, the young recruits will significantly ease the polyclinic's operations, which has recently experienced a shortage of therapists.
- We are pleased with our young specialists, - noted Leonid Anatolyevich. – The young professionals are goal-oriented, possess a wealth of knowledge, and are eager to help people. They lack experience, but this will be addressed by more qualified mentor doctors assigned to each of the young medical professionals. By the way, th
According to the information of the healthcare department of the regional executive committee, in August, 372 young specialists – doctors, 10 of whom are pharmacists, started working in the healthcare institutions of the region. Also, 293 intern doctors arrived for internships. This has made it possible to almost completely staff the region's medical institutions with doctors, including narrow specialists.
