The "Adamenskaya Gorka" memorial will be opened in Liozno after reconstruction for the 75th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi invaders
Military burial sites and memorial places have been put in order. On October 10 (which is the day in 1943 when the district was liberated from the occupiers), representatives of the authorities and sponsoring organizations will congratulate local veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the significant date and present them with gifts. Thematic events dedicated to the glorious anniversary in the history of Liozno region will be held in schools and libraries. A district sports event among members of voluntary patrols and the youth law enforcement unit will take place at the stadium of the urban settlement.
As reported by the Department of Ideological Work, Culture, and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee, the main celebrations are scheduled for October 13. The arrival of guests, the opening of the reconstructed memorial "Adamenka Gorka," the second stage of the Liozno Sports and Recreation Complex, and much more are expected.
