The month of rural roads has started in the Vitebsk region, the general director of the communal design, repair and construction enterprise "Vitebskoblodorstroy" Valery Lappo told a BELTA correspondent. During August-September, road builders will have to put rural streets in order, and improve access roads to mechanical yards and grain drying complexes. Now road workers are inspecting their condition and drawing up cost estimates for the work. As Valery Lappo said, over Br115 billion is being allocated to the local road economy this year, of which almost Br56 billion will be used to implement the program for the revival and development of the village. In accordance with the program, 173 km of driveways in agro-towns and approaches to them, as well as approaches from agro-towns to rural settlements, will be put in order.
