A month of improvement has started in Vitebsk
The autumn month-long cleanup campaign has started in Vitebsk and will last until November 15, the city executive committee reported.
The event is held with the aim of putting the land in order and improving the territory for the autumn-winter period of 2019/2020. Throughout the month, heads of city districts, organizations of all forms of ownership, educational institutions, commanders of military units and formations are to bring their own territories into proper sanitary condition, as well as territories assigned by decisions of the city district administrations. Special attention will be paid to cleaning yards, removing garbage dumps, tidying up the private housing sector, and repairing public transport stops.
Residents of the regional center are also invited to participate in the city improvement campaign, the city executive committee added.
