A month-long cleanup campaign will be held in the Vitebsk region in the near future

September 10, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. A month-long clean-up campaign will be held in the Vitebsk region in the near future, the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, announced today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. City courtyards, rural outskirts, garages and parking cooperatives, summer cottage cooperatives, and recreation areas will undergo a general clean-up. "Everyone will be involved in the clean-up, regardless of their position or rank," the governor added. In his opinion, the regional program of events for the Year of the Native Land is being implemented unsatisfactorily. Order has been established at only 69% of operating livestock farms and complexes, violations of unauthorized waste disposal are constantly being identified, and work on the reclamation of land freed up after the demolition of facilities is not being fully completed. The Year of the Native Land program is of great importance, Alexander Kosinets emphasized. It is important both economically and socially, makes the country well-maintained and comfortable for living, safe for the health of the nation, attractive to tourists, and educates the future generation in love for their native land. "Those who do not implement the measures of the Year of the Native Land are not masters of the land," the governor stressed. -0-
