Methodological recommendations will be developed for the application of the decree on the development of the Orsha region
Methodological recommendations for the application of Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District of the Vitebsk Region" will be developed by the interested services of ministries and departments, as reported to journalists by Deputy Minister of Economy Dmitry Matusevich.
According to Dmitry Matusevich, it is important to inform interested citizens and provide specific consultations on a particular issue or on the measures proposed by the decree in general.
"Meetings with entrepreneurs will allow us to form a range of issues that require answers in the form of methodological recommendations. We will prepare them jointly with all interested services of ministries and departments and post them on the websites of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Orsha District Executive Committee, and government bodies. Feedback from residents and economic entities of the region is important, as the proposals will be included in the action plan for the implementation of the decree, which is being prepared by the government," noted Dmitry Matusevich.
In addition, the issue of possible adjustments to the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure regarding the decriminalization of certain offenses will be considered. "We expect that by the end of the first quarter of 2019, there will be the first results of the document's work, when we can talk about economic indicators," explained the Deputy Minister.
Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Nabeshko noted that the decree has generated significant interest. "We are receiving calls from interested entrepreneurs, and we have opened hotlines both at the Orsha branch and at the Vitebsk branch of the BelCCI. If necessary, we are ready to involve specialists from other regions of the country to issue the necessary documents as quickly as possible," he noted.
A meeting of interested services of ministries and departments with local entrepreneurs on the application of Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District of the Vitebsk Region" was held at the Orsha District Executive Committee. The event generated interest among representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and gathered more than 200 people.
