The International Investment Forum will be held in Vitebsk on July 15-16

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee has announced the holding of another international investment forum, the committee for economy of the regional executive committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The investment forum will pick up the baton of hosting guests from the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" International Arts Festival and will be held on July 15-16, during the final days of the festival. The forum's goal is to familiarize domestic and foreign economic entities with the investment potential of the region, search for new partners, and attract investments to the priority sectors of the Vitebsk region's economy. The business forum program will include a presentation of investment proposals from the region's economic entities. The organizers also intend to show participants enterprises interested in implementing joint investment projects and sites for the development and attraction of investments. It is expected that more than 100 investment projects will be offered to the forum participants for implementation. A significant part of them is related to the creation of production facilities for processing local raw materials such as wood, dolomite, clay, and peat. The regions of the oblast have developed several business proposals for the development of roadside services and tourist infrastructure. -0-
