The International Ballroom Dancing Competition "Vitebsk Snowflake" will be held in Vitebsk for the 30th time on January 17-18.
Pairs from Belarus, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine will take part.
The jubilee "Vitebsk Snowflake" will become a kind of review of achievements in one of the most spectacular arts and sports. In addition to the traditional competition program, guest performances are planned, in particular, by the German champions among professional performers in the Latin American program, Oksana Lebedeva and Ilya Russo. By the way, Ilya is a graduate of the Vitebsk school of sports ballroom dancing. The winners of the Blackpool Festival in England in the European program, Grażyna Gambicka and Szymon Kalinowski, as well as the world champions among wheelchair users, will demonstrate their skills.
The tournament opening will feature finalists of the World Championship among ensembles in the European program, champions of Belarus, the formation team "Univers" of the Belarusian State University of Physical Education and Sport.
Representatives of all age groups will perform in the competition – from 5 years old (children) to 35 years old and older (seniors). The jury will determine the winners in each nomination.
