The interdepartmental working group considers it necessary to study the problems of youth in the Vitebsk region
June 4, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The need to study youth issues in the Vitebsk region was noted by the interdepartmental working group for monitoring the state of work of state bodies and organizations of the Vitebsk region with the population, the Vitebsk Regional Committee for State Control informed a BELTA correspondent.
According to the members of the working group, the organization of work with youth requires closer attention. As a rule, young people under the age of 22 do not attend mobile receptions of officials of state bodies and do not contact direct or hotlines with complaints. Their problems often remain outside the scope of authorities. In this regard, the interdepartmental working group considers it advisable to conduct monitoring and sociological research specifically among young people. Live communication between officials of state bodies and students of higher and secondary educational institutions will allow them to understand the moods of young people and fully implement the state youth policy.
As noted by the members of the interdepartmental group, fair complaints from young people are caused by long repairs of rural clubs and houses of culture, and insufficient work of youth organizations.
The interdepartmental working group for monitoring the state of work of state bodies and organizations of the Vitebsk region with the population was created in accordance with the instructions of the President of Belarus. The group worked in Polotsk, Senno and Vitebsk districts at the end of May this year. Its work in the region was headed by the Chairman of the State Control Committee, Alexander Yakobson. -0-
