The Vitebsk region police are searching for a missing 10-year-old boy

March 26, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Law enforcement agencies of the Vitebsk region are searching for a ten-year-old boy who went missing in Polotsk, the head of the criminal investigation department of the Polotsk Department of Internal Affairs, Sergey Makovsky, told a BELTA correspondent. The report of the child's disappearance was received on March 19. Vladislav Rogovsky left school at 3:30 PM and his whereabouts are still unknown. Law enforcement agencies of Polotsk and neighboring districts are doing everything possible to find the boy. A psychological profile has been compiled, and relatives and friends have been interviewed. The search is also being conducted among homeless people and people of Roma nationality. Posters about Vladik's disappearance have been posted around the city. According to Sergey Makovsky, so far, versions of a criminal cause for Vladik's disappearance or an accident involving him have not been confirmed. In addition, the police are receiving calls that the child with similar features has been seen in one place or another. Shortly before the incident, Vladik hitchhiked to his grandmother, who lives in the neighboring Rossony district, about 40 km from Polotsk. He did this after his mother complained about his bad behavior at school and said she would not take him to his grandmother for the weekend. That time, everything ended well, and the runaway was found. On the day the boy did not return home, a note about his bad behavior appeared in his school diary again, and in a few days, he was supposed to go to his grandmother for the weekend with his mother. The police do not rule out that the threat of not going to his grandmother could have pushed the boy to travel on his own. Vladik Rogovsky lives with his mother. The family is not registered as dysfunctional. -0-
