US Treasury Department extended sanctions relief for "Lakokraska" and "Polotsk-Steklovolokno"

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has once again extended the decision to ease sanctions against two Belarusian enterprises of the Belneftekhim concern - OJSC Lakokraska and Polotsk-Steklovolokno. This is reported by the official website of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, BelTA reports. The decision to suspend economic restrictions against these Belarusian enterprises has been extended until May 31, 2010. Recall that in November 2007, the U.S. imposed economic sanctions against the Belneftekhim concern. On September 5, 2008, the U.S. Treasury Department eased economic sanctions against two OJs – Lakokraska and Polotsk-Steklovolokno for six months. In February 2009, the validity of this decision was extended until June 1, then until November 30, 2009.-0-
