The Ministry of Justice presented a minibus to a rural school in the Dokshitsky district for the New Year
The Ministry of Justice has been sponsoring the rural educational institution for about 10 years. High guests are traditionally welcomed here twice a year - on September 1st and on the eve of the main winter holidays. The children prepared thoroughly for the meeting - a New Year's play, songs, poems, and they invited the guests to join a round dance.
During the "Our Children" campaign, heads of ministries and departments, as well as high-ranking officials, visit orphanages, boarding schools, social institutions, and schools not only in the capital and regional centers but also in remote areas. "The pupils of these institutions feel that they are under the attention and care of the state," said the Minister of Justice. "This is a good tradition, and we ourselves are very pleased to be in such an atmosphere, returning to work with positive emotions, energy, and renewed strength."
The Minister expressed confidence that the transport will help the children be more mobile - they will be able to attend creative competitions and sports events, and more actively realize their potential. The Berezkovskaya Kindergarten-Secondary School (which traces its history back to the 1920s) also received a gift from the district authorities, who presented the children with a certificate for the purchase of sports equipment.
The "Our Children" charity New Year event has been held in Belarus from December 10, 2015, to January 10, 2016. Traditionally, heads of republican government bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, concerns, banks, and public associations visit children's residential institutions, guardianship and foster families, family-type children's homes, families raising children with disabilities, correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation centers, and children's hospitals. Participants of the event congratulate children on New Year and Christmas and present them with gifts.
