Mikhail Turetsky brought four sound engineers to the "Slavianski Bazaar" to "promote live sound on television"

July 16, Vitebsk /Eduard Pivovar - BELTA/. The art group "Turetsky Choir" brought four sound engineers to the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk," said the group's leader Mikhail Turetsky at a press conference in Vitebsk today, BELTA correspondent reports. The musician explained that singing to a backing track is largely due to television requirements. "Here, at the 'Slavianski Bazaar,' it's not very easy to get live sound on TV either, so I brought four sound engineers with me to Vitebsk to make it happen. We really wanted to sing live and enjoy it ourselves," he said. "For a true artist, singing to a backing track is worse than sex with a condom, there's no pleasure at all." Mikhail Turetsky is convinced that an artist singing to a backing track should honestly warn the audience. "The audience who wants to see their favorite artist's face will come to their concert anyway," he added. The musician also criticized his colleagues who make unreasonable demands on tour organizers - this topic has often come up at the current festival. "An in-demand artist has the right to put forward some special conditions, but reasonable ones, of course," Turetsky believes. "If we give 250-270 performances a year, we need some living conditions. We also need normal transport because the voice suffers from shaking on the road. But I don't need any idiocy like pink towels." "We don't order cognac and whiskey for ourselves either, so that no one can say that Turetsky drinks before a concert," the group leader noted. -0-
