OPINION. Andrey Balysh: "The advantage of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly is that it is the only one capable of uniting all political forces"

Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of the eighth convocation Andrey Balysh:

- The new version of the Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus has enshrined the constitutional status of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly as the supreme representative body of people's power. This is a political instrument designed to be a guarantor of political stability and sovereignty of the country.
The advantage of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly is that it alone is capable of uniting all political forces: the government and civil society, youth and pensioners, workers and the intelligentsia, private business and representatives of state structures. This means that when discussing issues on the agenda of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, the opinions and positions of all our communities are taken into account.
It is precisely because no modern country gives such a wide range of citizens control over the state machine that there are no absolute analogues of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly in the world.
