A multifunctional sports ground was opened in Horadok
The playground was built in the district center as part of a nationwide social project by the Presidential Sports Club to support sports and a healthy lifestyle. It is located next to the city stadium, complementing the active recreation area for residents. The playground with an artificial surface allows for playing streetball, exercising on pull-up bars and parallel bars, and practicing punches on a boxing bag. The sports facility is designed for workouts, weightlifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, and other health-beneficial exercises. Both children and seniors can maintain their fitness here. The playground also features pull-up bars for people with disabilities.
Vitebsk athlete with extensive experience in international competitions Leonid Selitsky held a workout master class at the new venue.
"Here, in Gorodok, another core of sport and health is being born. Sport makes a person stronger, harmoniously developed, so I would like this venue to be filled with smiles, joy, so that champions appear here, glorifying our country," noted Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism Oleg Andreychik, who took part in the grand opening ceremony of the sports ground.
The sports component of the Day of Writing was eventful and also included beach volleyball competitions, a friendly mini-football match for children, and demonstration performances in wushu, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, and darts.-0-
