A mobile heating point of the Vitebsk Regional Ministry of Emergency Situations has been set up on the M8 highway in the Orsha district.

On the M8 highway, at the intersection of the settlements of Orekhovsk-Grishany, a mobile heating point has been established today, which provides technical and first medical assistance to those who find themselves in a difficult situation due to severe weather conditions. Here you can also get hot meals and seek help from rescuers if necessary.

The forces and means of the region's organizations have been brought to full readiness to eliminate the consequences of the cyclone "Emma" passing through the Dvina region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations added. In particular, more than 80 self-propelled vehicles with ultra-low pressure tire covers "ROSA" have been involved in this work. In total, 3327 employees of various organizations and 883 units of equipment have been involved in clearing roads and removing snow. External inspection of facilities affecting the safety of citizens' lives in case of their malfunction is being carried out. More than 400 employees are involved in the monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, over 1 thousand rural settlements, about 620 facilities with mass gatherings of people and life support facilities have been surveyed. Roofs of over 930 buildings and structures have been cleared of snow.
