A model business plan for the creation of a recreational area infrastructure on a reservoir has been developed in the Vitebsk region

A model business plan for the creation of recreational infrastructure in the coastal zone has been developed by specialists of the Vitebsk Center for Regional Research and Development, the enterprise's director Natalia Berchenko told a BELTA correspondent. The "500" program is being implemented in the Vitebsk region, the goal of which is to form a modern complex of health and tourism services based on the rational use of natural resources. One of the program's directions is the creation of 100 infrastructure facilities for organizing recreation on the lakes of the Vitebsk region. The model business plan developed by Vitebsk specialists provides for the creation of recreational infrastructure in a coastal zone with a total area of 1 hectare. The facility is planned to include a sandy beach area for 300 vacationers, a sports zone (including football and volleyball courts), a children's playground with a play complex, a green zone, pedestrian paths, and a service area. In addition, the business plan provides for the arrangement of a parking lot. The development was carried out by order of the regional executive committee and can be used by local government bodies, including when searching for investors for specific projects. The use of a model business plan allows providing a potential investor with a complete package of practical information on the project, including the specifics of the type of business under consideration, and an overview of the legislation regulating this area of activity. The model business plan makes it possible to assess the effectiveness and prospects of providing such services. The object's development strategy is based on providing the population with a complex of diverse services by attracting business entities providing related services to the created recreational zone: installation of attractions, rental and sale of sports equipment, sale of goods for recreation, toys, and food products. In the long term, it is possible to attract investors for the construction of permanent retail and catering facilities. In addition, upon reaching a certain level of attendance in the recreation area, it is possible to create a mini-water park, organize boat trips, and develop other types of services for vacationers. It is assumed that the organized recreational zone will be accessible to visitors year-round, including for safe swimming in the summer period and on a permanent basis for holding mass health and holiday events. The Vitebsk Center for Regional Research and Development was established in 2004 on the basis of the Vitebsk Department of the Research Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Economy. The main activities of the center include conducting diverse research in the field of regional economy and sociology, developing forecasts, programs, and strategic development plans for administrative-territorial units. Since 2006, the center has been the basic consulting organization for the Vitebsk region, providing services in the field of business planning. -0-
