Vitebskoblgaz opened a modernized peat separation line in Obol
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Shumilino District Executive Committee Oleg Bykov, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, General Director of UP "Vitebskabgaz" Petr Shershan, heads and employees of enterprises that are part of the Vitebskabgaz system.
— The modernization was carried out in a short period of time, — noted the head of VU "Vitebsktor" Vitaly Nesplyak. — The equipment was manufactured at the Mogilev-based OJSC "NIIstromavtoline", all construction work was performed by Shumilino PMK-70.
The modernization has made it possible to automate all technological processes related to production, increase volumes, improve quality and expand the range of peat products, and reduce peat losses in production. The modernization carried out, as well as the introduction of new peat extraction areas, according to specialists' estimates, will ensure the stable operation of the enterprise for 30 years.
Petr Shershan thanked for the good, prompt, and high-quality work, noting that this is the merit of all Vitebskabgaz enterprises that contributed to the reconstruction and modernization of peat enterprises in Kruleyshchina (Dokshitsky district), Obol (Shumilino district), and Oktyabrsky (Chashnitsky district).
Oleg Bykov emphasized that the new production means new jobs with high and stable salaries, which is of great importance for Obol.
The event participants familiarized themselves with the operation of the line, as well as with the wide range of products manufactured by Vitebsktor. After the launch of the line, the results of the enterprise's work were summarized, and a ceremony of awarding the best employees of VU "Vitebsktor" and UP "Vitebskabgaz" was held.
