Youth of Polotsk district will improve the shore of Lake Beloye at the tourist rally
Youth of Polotsk District to improve the bank of Lake Beloye at a tourist rally, as reported by the Polotsk District Executive Committee.
The tourist rally, dedicated to the Year of the Small Motherland, will take place on the bank of this reservoir on August 17-18 and will bring together about 250 activists from enterprises and organizations of the district. At the same time, its participants decided not only to compete in traditional contests and competitions for all outdoor enthusiasts, but also to hold the "Gift to the Small Motherland" campaign, during which they plan to improve a new recreation area at the lake for local residents and guests of the district.
Benches and picnic tables, sandboxes, swings and horizontal bars for children's games, and much more will appear on the bank, making recreation by the picturesque lake more comfortable. "Participants of the tourist rally will be awarded not only diplomas and prizes for victories in competitions, but also the gratitude of their fellow countrymen for a good deed and their contribution to the development of their small motherland," the district executive committee added.
