Youth of the Vitebsk region will compete in pedestrian tourism techniques from March 26-28

March 25, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Regional open competitions in indoor pedestrian tourism techniques will be held in Vitebsk on March 26-28, the Department for Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. Teams from 17 districts will participate - about 260 people in total, as well as guests from Russia - a delegation from Smolensk. The tournament will be held in two age groups: teenagers aged 12-15 and youth aged 16-18. Participants will compete in team presentations, tourist songs, and demonstrate their tourist training skills. Winners and prize-winners of the competitions in the team standings and individual events of the competition program for each age group will be awarded cups, diplomas, and commemorative prizes. The event is aimed at popularizing tourism among youth and improving the skills of young athletes. The organizers are the Department for Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Vitebsk Regional Association for Extracurricular Work with Children and Adolescents. -0-
