Youth of Vitebsk region will compete in assembling puzzles on November 12

November 11, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The regional stage of the republican puzzle assembly championship "Belarus and I" will be held on November 12 in Vitebsk, the regional committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. Teams of students and youth from all regions will gather at the Lenin Library. About 50 people are expected to represent universities and colleges from Vitebsk, Polotsk, and other cities. In the first stage of the championship, each of the three team members will have to assemble a 96-piece puzzle in the shortest possible time. In the second stage, the entire team will work towards a common result. In five minutes, the participants need to assemble a 204-piece mosaic. Participants can quickly cope with these tasks not only through intensive training but also with the help of knowledge about Belarus. Thus, specially made mosaics will depict the map of Belarus, the Summer Amphitheatre in Vitebsk, the Minsk-Arena sports complex, and the National Library in Minsk, as well as other significant socio-cultural objects of the country. The winning teams of the competition will be determined based on the results of two performances and individual tasks. Participants who win first place, in addition to certificates and memorable souvenirs, will be granted the honorable right to represent the Vitebsk region at the republican championship, which will be held on November 19 in Minsk.
