Youth will record memories of Komsomol veterans and plant trees as part of a joint event in Glubokoye

The youth open dialogue of generations "Without the past – there is no future…", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Komsomol, was held at Glubokoe Secondary School No. 3.

Similar commemorative meetings will be held in other institutions of the district in the coming weeks. According to Ella Zhdanovich, the first secretary of the district committee of the "BRSM" public association, these events expand the circle of friends, help find answers to questions that interest young people, and get acquainted with the experience of Komsomol members.

– September 6 is the birthday of our friendly youth family – the "BRSM" public association, – says Ella Zhdanovich. – It is important to know the history of your district, the names of those people who multiplied its glory. We try to adopt all the best from the older generation. We hold various events, organize projects to support talented youth, and foster citizenship and patriotism. We have an idea to collect information about the monuments and structures built by Komsomol student teams in Glubokoe.

At a meeting with students of the 8th – 10th grades, former first and second secretaries of the Glubokoe Komsomol district committee, Petr Nikitin and Alina Budko, recalled their school and student years, their Komsomol activities, and presented new-style membership cards to activists of the "BRSM" public association, wishing them to do as many good deeds as possible and not to be afraid of difficulties.

According to Ella Zhdanovich, a photo exhibition is planned in the district for the 100th anniversary of the Komsomol. A joint labor action to plant trees and recording the memories of Komsomol veterans are also planned.

As a souvenir of the meeting, the schoolchildren presented the guests with handmade souvenirs and thanked them for their interesting stories.
