Today, the winners of the regional operational competition will be honored right in the field, the regional committee of the trade union of agricultural workers informed a BELTA correspondent. Harvesters Alexander Parchevsky and Igor Klimenkov on the KZS-1218 combine exceeded the threshold of 2 thousand tons of threshed grain by the end of the mass grain harvesting in the region, becoming winners in two operational competitions at once, including among youth crews. They will be awarded a prize of 20 basic units (currently one basic unit is Br35 thousand), diplomas, letters of appreciation, and valuable gifts. In total, 65 combine crews in the region threshed over 1 thousand tons of grain, including three youth crews. As of August 16, mass grain harvesting has been completed in the region, with almost 822 thousand tons threshed at an average yield of 20.1 centners per hectare. The harvesting of spring rapeseed is currently underway, which has been mowed on an area of over 12.6 thousand hectares. The yield of oilseeds is over 12 thousand tons, with a yield of 9.5 centners per hectare. -0-
