A youth science camp for future chemists and biologists is operating for the first time in the Vitebsk region

For the first time in the Vitebsk region, a youth science camp for biology and chemistry enthusiasts has been organized. Participants of TALENAVITA CAMP have already immersed themselves in the exciting world of biotechnology – the camp session opened on July 19 at the "Zhemchuzhina" health resort in the Lepel district.

The science camp is held as part of the TalenaVita program to support talented youth, initiated by Natvita LLC with the support of the N.N. Alexandrov National Research Center for Oncology and Medical Radiology and the Vitebsk State Medical University.

The organizers offered camp vouchers to 30 students from the 2nd to 4th years of higher education institutions from all regions of the country. The selection criterion for the participants was active involvement in the student scientific society of their universities with a focus on biotechnology, and the presence of research papers in chemistry and biology, as reported by Natvita LLC.

Promising researchers will spend ten days at TALENAVITA CAMP. A packed agenda of events is formed under the unified theme "Cancer Under Control: Ideas and Methods of Modern Oncology." Camp participants are divided into teams and conduct scientific research in the form of solving problems posed by experts. At the end of the session, teams will present the results of their work and receive awards for the most successful projects.

In addition to teamwork, the camp includes lectures, master classes, and training sessions, as well as scientific debates with breaks for a six-time (!) meal. TALENAVITA CAMP will provide young talents with a unique opportunity to interact with practicing experts in oncology from the N.N. Alexandrov National Research Center for Oncology and Medical Radiology, VSU and VSMU, and pharmaceutical companies. An excursion to the Natvita LLC pharmaceutical production facility is also planned.

The organizers did not overlook sports and recreational activities, which will also contribute to achieving the main goal of the TalenaVita program – to unite experts in science and business to prepare the younger generation for a high-tech future.
