Young specialists of the Vitebsk region held an open dialogue with representatives of the authorities
– Forum participants visited leading enterprises of the city, including "Belarusian Leather and Footwear Company "Marko" and "Fortex - Water Technologies" LLC. Representatives of regional media learned about the work of the Internet television of Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov. It is important that we were able to build and develop a dialogue in a direction that is interesting to our youth, – said Vyacheslav Krol, First Secretary of the Regional Committee of the BRSM.
– This is not the first meeting in a similar format. Two years ago, we held a forum of working youth in the Gluboksky district. The experience attracted colleagues from other regions, and we jointly held such a forum in the Grodno region, then followed by Polotsk, Orsha, – noted Pyotr Gnutenko, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee.
– At any workplace, you need to prove yourself, to show that you know and can do. The main result of the forum is the communication between young people with each other and with the authorities. I hope it was useful, – shared his opinion Anatoly Linevich, Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region.
As noted by Vladimir Turavinov, Chairman of the Regional Union of Employers, it is very important that young people are interested in working in production. People who understand information technologies and digital devices are especially valued. They have a place to apply their skills. Among the leading enterprises developing innovative approaches, he named "Vitebsk Elevators", "Energokomplekt", "Polymerkonstruktsiya".
During the dialogue between the audience and experts, issues relevant to future entrepreneurs were also raised. Alexander Trofimov, Head of the Entrepreneurship Development Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee, provided detailed answers to them.
"Small and medium-sized businesses in the Vitebsk region account for almost 90% of service exports, about 50% of goods exports, and 25% of tax revenues to the consolidated budget," he added.
Viktor Glushin, Deputy Chairman of the City Executive Committee, spoke about the organization of leisure activities for citizens and the importance of private initiative. He noted that the authorities take the proposals of individual entrepreneurs and ordinary Vitebsk residents very seriously.
An example of this is the holiday for the city's residents, which will take place on February 23 on the site near the shopping center "Evikom". This is a gift to the Fatherland defenders from the owners of "Z-park".
