Young parents who welcomed their first child were honored in the Rossony district
“
I was born!” – under this title, young families in Rossony who had their firstborns were honored.Not only mothers and fathers, but also grandmothers and grandfathers were invited to the celebration, which took place at the registry office. Previously, as explained by Nonna Volynko, head of the department of ideological work, culture, and youth affairs of the district executive committee, celebrations were held for families where the third child was born, but this year it was decided to congratulate them on their firstborn. Moreover, due to the increase in the birth rate, this celebration is already the second one; the first was timed to coincide with Rossony Day, which is celebrated on July 3.
Over the past five months, 12 new residents of the urban settlement have been born. Their parents were presented with colorful diplomas indicating the birth date, weight, and height of their firstborns, and the babies received toys. Young artists prepared their gifts for the heroes of the occasion and put on a small concert.
