Scammers in Vitebsk have come up with a new deception: they go door-to-door collecting money for a neighbor's "funeral"

What will you do when someone rings your doorbell and says that a tragedy has occurred in a neighbor's family and they need financial assistance to the best of their ability?

Natalia Vorontsova's actions from Vitebsk are quite understandable. Firstly, she knew that wonderful people lived next door to her. The news of the death of one of them shocked the young woman. Moreover, the visitor looked sad, was neatly dressed, and seemed like a decent person. Without thinking, the woman gave him money. The amount was not too impressive, but not small either. Upset by the news, Natalia said goodbye to the guest. And in the morning, she saw her neighbors in good health, and her joy knew no bounds.

It turned out that Natalia is not the only compassionate person in the city. A similar man has been seen in different districts of Vitebsk, and he acts according to the same scenario. Of course, only a few refuse him. A whole debate has even developed on this topic on social media.

This type of "scam" leaves no time for thought. A large building, and we may not know all our neighbors. There is no need to be ashamed of this. Go to them and ask how they are doing. If the alarm is false, you will laugh together, and if there is trouble, you will genuinely support people. Do not rush to give money to a stranger.
