Mozyr Oil Refinery and Naftan have completed scheduled major repairs of a number of production units, the press service of Belneftekhim concern told BELTA correspondent. Mozyr Oil Refinery has completed scheduled major repairs of the LK-6U No. 1 complex, the fuel oil vacuum distillation unit, and the tar visbreaking unit. The commissioning of production equipment ensures maximum utilization of hydrocarbon feedstock processing capacities. Naftan has completed repair and modernization work on the aromatic hydrocarbon production unit complex, carried out as part of scheduled major repairs. The successful replacement of adsorbent at the Paraxylene-Parex unit has increased the paraxylene production capacity to 70 thousand tons per year. The Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry "Belneftekhim" unites more than 60 organizations. It accounts for over 30% of Belarus's industrial output. The concern's enterprises produce more than 500 types of petrochemical and chemical products. About 70% of the products manufactured are exported to more than 100 countries. -0-
