The "Flowers of Great Victory" museum bus will arrive in Vitebsk for the "Dialogue of Generations"
The "Flowers of Great Victory" museum bus will visit the Vitebsk region and diversify the program of the youth meeting with the leadership of Vitebsk within the framework of the "Dialogue of Generations" project, reported Dmitry Turoнок, the second secretary of the regional committee of the BRSM.
The unique mobile museum will make a stop on June 10 in Mayakovsky Square near the Vitebsk Culture Center, where the regional committee of the BRSM will launch a new project, "Dialogue of Generations: Flowers of Great Victory." "About 100 people will take part in the meeting, including delegates from the youth of the V All-Belarusian People's Congress, representatives of executive authorities, talented and gifted young people: scientists, athletes, businessmen, musicians, and others. They will voice problems and issues related to youth topics, propose effective solutions, and together develop concrete proposals for discussion at the People's Assembly," explained Dmitry Turoнок.
He added that the "Dialogue of Generations" project will continue its "journey" through all cities and districts of the region until the end of the year in several stages. The first stage is currently being implemented - in anticipation of the V All-Belarusian People's Congress, the youth will declare their participation in the socio-economic development of the region and the country, and develop proposals for the implementation of state youth policy. Thus, "Dialogue of Generations" will be a logical continuation of the BRSM projects "Open Dialogue 'Youth of Belarus: Traditions and Future'" and "Open Debates 'VYBIRAY.BY!'".
The "Flowers of Great Victory" museum bus is a joint project of the BRSM and the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. The mobile museum exhibition features exhibits that speak about the heroism of the Belarusian people and reflect the history of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The museum will be open to all visitors, and exhibits can be touched or tried on, and photos can be taken. Interactive platforms with military-patriotic, sports, and national-cultural themes will also be set up nearby in Mayakovsky Square. In parallel, in the small hall of the Culture Center
"Vitebsk" will host the regional stage of the republican festival-competition of author's (bard) songs "Flowers of the Great Victory", the winners of which will represent the region in the final on July 2 in Minsk. Meanwhile, today the museum-bus will operate in Orsha. At the entrance to the city, it will be met by a column of vintage cars and bikers with state flags. Then the mobile exhibition will stop at the Mound of Immortality. After a rally and laying of flowers, various youth events will be organized here.Ekaterina Knyazeva - BELTA.
