For many years, passions ran high in this family from the Tolochin district, fueled by alcohol. Until one day, the man took a rolling pin and delivered several fatal blows to his cohabitant.

Svetlana Malets, Deputy District Prosecutor, said that the woman had been deprived of parental rights, she reimbursed the expenses for raising children, but continued to abuse alcohol and did not work. Her cohabitant was also fond of drinking. Scandals in the house happened constantly, fists were often used. In the end, another drunken quarrel ended in tragedy. Subsequently, the man stated in court that his cohabitant "drove him crazy». He took a rolling pin and hit the woman on the head twice. She died almost immediately from severe cerebral hemorrhage, but the murderer did not enter the room where the corpse lay for another two days.

The court found the man guilty of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, which negligently caused death, and sentenced him to 7 years of imprisonment.
