An honorary star plaque will be unveiled in honor of Polad Bülbül oglu on the Alley of Stars in Vitebsk

People's Artist of Azerbaijan, singer and composer Polad Bülbül oglu will be awarded this year with the special prize of the President of Belarus "Through Art to Peace and Understanding". It is traditionally presented at the international arts festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".

This jubilee year for the maestro (he turned 70 in February) will be truly stellar. Now his nameplate will also appear on the Alley of Stars near the Vitebsk Summer Amphitheatre.

Polad Bülbül oglu will head the international jury of the pop song performers contest "Vitebsk - 2015", his name is on the posters of several concert programs.

It is possible that the artist will also present his new acting role to the audience. Two years ago, he starred in the sequel to the famous film "Don't Be Afraid, I'm With You", released in 1981. Polad Bülbül oglu again played his character Teymur, but 20 years after the events of the first film. The maestro wrote wonderful music and songs for both films.
