In Braslav region, the best mushroom picker and the most comfortable suit for "mushroom hunting" will be chosen

The "Braslav Mushroom-2013" mushroom festival will be held on September 14 and will take place for the third time. As last year, participants will gather mushrooms in the Ratskoye forest.

The founders of the festival are the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs, the Braslav Regional Committee of the BRSM, and the Department of Education, Sports and Tourism of the Braslav District Executive Committee. The essence of the festival is to collect as many edible mushrooms as possible. Galina Korotkova, chief specialist of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs, told "Kraj.by" about this:

- The festival program is still under consideration. But it is already known that according to the festival conditions, city enterprises will present their teams with a composition of no more than five people. Braslav residents will compete for three prize places in various nominations: "The Biggest Mushroom", "The Smallest Mushroom", "Best Mushroom Picker Costume", and others.

Also, according to Galina Korotkova, there will be trade stands during the mushroom festival.

The exact festival program will be known later.
