At the "Dazhynki" in Verkhnedvinsk, guests will be shown a water show

The leadership of the Vitebsk region held a meeting on organizing the main holiday for grain growers. This year, Verkhnedvinsk became the capital of the regional "Dazhynki". In the spring, large-scale construction and improvement work began in the city.

Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev stated:

— In Verkhnedvinsk, about 200 facilities have been repaired and reconstructed, including one of the largest district Houses of Culture. The residents of the district center will have a modern sports and recreation complex with a swimming pool and fitness rooms.

The complex, long-awaited by the residents of the region, will be solemnly opened during the holiday. During the meeting, organizational issues of holding the main events within the forum were discussed to ensure guests feel as comfortable and safe as possible. Specific instructions were given regarding the organization of trade, traffic police, medical, and other services.

During the discussion of these issues, it was announced that according to the preliminary plan, "Dazhynki-2018" in Verkhnedvinsk should take place on September 28, but the date may be postponed. This year, the organizers have made some changes to the program. The awarding of the best workers of the agro-industrial complex will be alternated with concert performances, so the ceremony should be dynamic. Traditional attractions include an exhibition of sheaves and loaves in the House of Culture and "Vitebsk Region in Miniature," as well as a presentation of new agricultural machinery. There will also be surprises. For example, a water show with the participation of the Braslav Sailing School, as well as a performance by the Vitebsk 103rd Mobile Brigade.
