New facilities were solemnly opened at the "Dazhynki" in Sharkovshchyna
– "Dazhynki" is not only a traditional folk festival, but also an important social project that not only contributes to increasing the prestige of labor on the land and attracting the attention of youth to agricultural professions, but also helps to make our small towns and villages even more improved, well-kept and attractive, – noted Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, in Sharksna.
The district center has been transformed beyond recognition for the holiday. 180 facilities have been given new life. A new 40-apartment residential building with an elevator, the Sharksna district of gas supply of the "Braslavgaz" production management branch of UP "Vitebskoblgaz", the Sharksna district of electric networks, a branch of the Glubokoye electric networks of RUP "Vitebskenergo" have been solemnly opened, the only ones in Sharksna.
In addition, a major overhaul with modernization of the building of secondary school No. 1 in Sharksna urban-type settlement has been carried out, and work is underway to modernize the sports ground, the district Center of Crafts, the Center of Culture, and other important facilities. The facades of the buildings of the cannery, hotel, consumer services combine, bus station, post office, central banking services, and archive have been updated. Adjacent territories have been improved near all facilities, roads have been repaired, and 155 thousand square meters of asphalt pavement have been laid. Repairs have been carried out to 27 adjacent territories, 12 consumer cooperative trade facilities, 22 private sector entities, the market territory has been improved, a new cafe has been opened, and small architectural forms worth half a million rubles have been purchased and installed.
– Everything that has been done remains for the people. And this is the main thing. The transformation of the urban settlement will continue after the festival, – emphasized Alexander Subbotin.
