Masters from 11 branches of Vitebskhlebprom OJSC and bakery productions will bring their creations to the "Dozhinki-2016" festival

On the eve of the regional festival-fair "Dazhynki", the work rhythm of the region's bakers is no less intense than during the harvest season in the fields. They must fully and beautifully present the art of "painting" with dough at the traditional exhibition of karavai for this holiday.

Masters from 11 branches of Vitebskhleb­prom OJSC and bakery enterprises of the regional consumer union system will bring their creations to Senno. We asked the chief technologist of the company, Olga Pavlyuchenko, to reveal the creative concept of the Vitebskhleb­prom craftswomen.

She said that this time, in the Year of Culture, it was decided to play on the cultural theme, as each district has its own unique feature. Glubokoye, for example, will present the "Cherry Festival". Vitebsk is the birthplace of "Slavyansky Bazaar", the cultural capital of the country, so the Vitebsk karavai will be crowned with a view of the amphitheater and Dukhovskoy Kruglik. The creative group of female workers entrusted with this responsible order is headed by dough maker Natalia Sycheva. This large-scale product is baked from yeast dough in parts and transported to the festival site in a specially ordered container truck. The main attribute of "Dazhynki" is accompanied only by mannequins of girls in national costumes, which are traditionally used to decorate the karavai exhibition. By the way, their canvas dresses and hats are also decorated with flowers and dough vignettes.

This is regarding "pure art". In addition to participating in the karavai exhibition, Vitebskhleb­prom will set up its tent at the capital of the regional "Dazhynki", where it will present the richness of the assortment of products for everyday consumption manufactured by the parent enterprise and its branches. Among this variety will be a new product – bread for healthy eating from the "Source of Strength, Energy and Beauty" line called "Rostochok" in four varieties:

«Rostochok», «Rostochok» with bran, «Rostochok» cereal, «Rostochok» with carrot. Last weekend, visitors to the exhibition-fair "Vitebshchina — for a healthy lifestyle" appreciated all the shades of their taste.
