"Jozas Bulka: A Lifetime of Preaching". Under this title, a memorial evening dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the former rector of St. Anne's Church in Mosar will be held in the agro-town of Udela, Glubokoye district, on December 27.

Events from the life of the priest, whose personality became a legend, will be recalled at the Udela Cultural Center. This legend is reinforced by vivid memories of those who had the opportunity to work with him. The event will begin with Holy Mass at the Mosar Church, which will take place at 1 p.m., as reported by the press service of the Vitebsk Diocese.

Let us recall that the priest passed away in 2010. For over 20 years, Jozas Bulka served God, reviving faith in people's souls. He became widely known in Belarus and abroad as a promoter of a healthy lifestyle. The priest initiated the creation of a number of facilities that made Mosar attractive to tourists: an anti-alcohol museum and a sobriety alley. Thanks to the priest, many residents of this settlement and surrounding villages stopped abusing alcohol. The rector did a lot for the improvement of Mosar: the Way of the Cross, a stadium, an ostrich farm, and a dendropark were created, and a monument to John Paul

II was erected in front of the church.

By the way, Jozas Bulka was the first Belarusian Catholic priest to receive the "For Spiritual Revival" award. In addition, by decree of the President, the priest was awarded the Medal of Francysk Skaryna.
